15 Things to Do in Middle Tennessee This Weekend: Oct 30-Nov 1, 2026
This weekend in Middle Tennessee (October 30 to November 1, 2026), the top events are Halloween in the Grove at Fiddlers Grove in Lebanon on Saturday, a Zach Top concert film premiere at the Stardust Drive-In in Watertown on Sunday, and the 12 South Halloween Parade in Nashville. Fifteen verified events run from Watertown to Franklin, and many are free.
Halloween lands on a Saturday this year, which means every town in Middle Tennessee gets its shot at the main event. In Wilson County, I would build the day around Fiddlers Grove in the afternoon and Watertown's square at night, then save Sunday for the Stardust, where Zach Top is showing his Red Rocks film two days after he plays Bridgestone. Also, clocks fall back Sunday morning, so you get one extra hour to recover from the candy.

Lebanon, Mt. Juliet and Watertown
Wilson County splits Halloween four ways this year, and you can hit three of them in one day.

A grown-up costume night on the square: live DJ, cocktails and mocktails, a photo booth, raffles, and a costume contest. Tickets support Audience of One Productions and its Broadway shows at the Capitol.

Halloween in the Grove

The Chamber and the City of Lebanon turn Fiddlers Grove into a trick-or-treat route, with candy stations through the historic village, games, a photo booth, free hot dogs, a costume contest, and a ghoul parade. It only runs 90 minutes, so show up at 2:30, not 3:45.
Halloween Chills and Thrills at Cedars of Lebanon
Saturday, October 31 · 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM · Cedars of Lebanon State Park Campground, 328 Cedar Forest Rd, Lebanon · $2 to $4
Campsite-to-campsite trick or treating, hayrides, and a 5:00 PM costume contest. There is also a sensory-friendly trick or treat from 4:30 to 6:00 PM. Non-campers over age 2 need a presale ticket and supply is limited, so check before you load the car.
Watertown Halloween on the Square
Saturday, October 31 · 6:00 PM · Watertown Public Square, Watertown · Check listing for pricing
Watertown's little square fills up with trick-or-treaters on Halloween night. It is walkable and charming, and it is my pick for the last stop of the night.
Zach Top: Live From Red Rocks Premiere at the Stardust Drive-In
Sunday, November 1 · Gates 4:00 PM · Stardust Drive-In Theatre, 310 Purple Tiger Dr, Watertown · Check listing for pricing
The concert film from his back-to-back sold-out Red Rocks shows, on the big screen at the Stardust, with a live acoustic set from Zach Top before the movie. Registration is required.
A lot of people find Wilson County exactly this way. They come out for a weekend, walk the square, and start wondering what it would cost to live here. If that's you, I'm happy to walk you through it with no pressure. Reach out anytime.
Nashville
Four picks, from a free block party to an arena show.

12 South Halloween Parade
Saturday, October 31 · 6:00 PM (lineup 5:45 PM) · Halcyon Ave and Montrose Ave, Nashville · Free
The 7th annual costume parade, led by a brass band. Streets close at 4:00 PM and there is no parking on the route, so park farther out and walk in.

Trick or Treat Around the Historic Rutherford County Square
Friday, October 30 · 3:00 PM · Public Square, Murfreesboro · Free
Main Street Murfreesboro runs trick or treating around the courthouse square. A local news teaser puts it at 3:00 to 5:00 PM, so this is an after-school stop.

Saturday, October 31 · 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM · N Church St, Murfreesboro · Free
Local painters and makers sell original work along North Church Street, starting at Puckett's, right alongside the Saturday Market. If the Boro is on your short list, here is what buyers should know before moving to Murfreesboro.
Battlefield Caravan Tour at Stones River
Saturday, October 31 · 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM · Stones River National Battlefield, 3501 Old Nashville Hwy, Murfreesboro · Free

HALLOWEENFEST at Hop Springs
Saturday, October 31 · 4:00 PM · Hop Springs Beer Park, 6790 John Bragg Hwy, Murfreesboro · Free (registration through TicketWeb)
An all-ages Halloween Day party at the beer park. Tickets are $0, but grab one first since registration is required.
Franklin
Fear Fest: Coco (2017)
Saturday, October 31 · 10:00 AM · The Franklin Theatre, 419 Main St, Franklin · Check listing for pricing
The Franklin Theatre's Fear Fest series has a gentle option for Halloween morning: Coco, which fits the Día de los Muertos weekend nicely. Walk Main Street after. If you are comparing Williamson County towns, I broke down Franklin vs Brentwood here.
Details can change. Dates get moved and events get cancelled. I link every event to its source so you can confirm before you drive out.
Living Here
In Wilson County, Halloween is a state park campground, a historic village, and a small-town square, all in one county on one afternoon. That is the trade a lot of people make when they move out here: room to breathe, with Nashville still close enough for a Friday night arena show. If you are running the cost side, I ran the rent versus buy numbers for Lebanon.
